Live Well Lived Vol. 5

  

This week's Live Well Lived installment is all about NASHVILLE!

I was fortunate enough to be able to take a business trip to Nashville in 2009.  It was great because I was there over a weekend so when the conference ended at 5ish, I hit the town and soaked up the night life!

I went to the Grand Ole Opry.  It was AMAZING!  Instead of it being in the Opry House, it was hosted at the historic Ryman Auditorium.  I saw Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Jake Owen among others.  Vince Gill made a surprise appearance!  He just walked up back stage to say hello, they asked if he wanted to sing, he said yeah, and before I knew it I heard "When I Call Your Name."   AND, I won a gift card to Cracker Barrel!  Like I said-an AMAZING experience.

I also had the chance to say hi to Willie and share his whiskey with him.

Ha, just kidding!  

I really went to the Willie Nelson General Store and Museum.

I also visited Cooter's Dukes of Hazard Museum.  It was awesome.

 

Did I mention that I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel?  Yep, they did me up right (notice how I start talking a little more redneck after chatting with Willie and the Dukes?).  Did I also mention that I went in November so the entire hotel was decorated for Christmas?  Yep, it was awesome.
