Fab Find Friday: Dollar Tree Baskets to Mail Organizers

Most days by looking at our house, you can't tell that I LOVE organization.  I need it feel happy.  When things start getting cluttered, I get grumpy.  We have a small rectangle basket that the mail is supposed to go in everyday.  It overflows with junk mail, so most of the time our mail ends up in a pile on the bar.  Hopefully these lovelies will solve the junk pile problem!  They were so easy to make!

Puppy Love

For those of you that know my dog, Molly, you know that cuddle time with her is few and far between.  But as I was cooking supper over the weekend, I noticed that I didn't here the dogs playing.  Just like children, too quiet means that they are getting into trouble.  I looked down and saw these sweetie pies curled up, snuggling together.  How sweet!

I called Justin in to show him, but he had already witnessed the growing love between these two!  He found them curled up on the couch together earlier that afternoon while I was outside working on refinishing our desk. Oh, how we love our sweet doggies!

I Was Featured on Pioneer Woman Photography!

I love Pioneer Woman.  Her website is fantastic and I read it everyday.  If you don't know her, here's a quick synopsis: she's an L.A. city girl who fell in love with an Oklahoma cowboy.  It changed her life forever.  And she wrote a book about it.  She writes about her life on the ranch on her website.  You should check her out if you don't know her.  She'll change your life in so many ways!

Did I Ever Tell You...

That Justin and I got to see the Weinermobile?

We even got to sit inside it!

And then we sang (or really Justin sang and I just moved my lips) the Bologna Song so we could get weenie whistles!

We are so cool.

Can't Afford a Canvas Photo Print? Try This Instead!

This past Christmas, the Harmon family got together and took a big ole family picture.  I think we look rather dashing don't you?

We have a long wall in our house that creates a "hallway" between the front of the house where the formal living and dining room are to the back of the house where the family room is.  I have high hopes for this wall but it's going to be a LONG work in progress.  Here are some ideas that I have for it.

Rosette T-Shirt-4th of July Style!

I had so much fun and so many compliments (thanks y'all!) on the rosette necklace that I made, I thought I'd do something similar for the 4th of July!  I made rosette pins out of patriotic material (the same material I used to make my wreath) and put them on a red scoop neck t-shirt that I had.  I think it turned out cute!
