Good Fences Make Good Neighbors

I think Robert Frost was a little off.  Our fence has proven to be not very good at all and because of that we have found that we have some really AWESOME neighbors.

A few weeks after our last fence fiasco, a huge storm passed through and knocked the back fence panels down.  Jesus was looking after my sweet little garden becuase that fence panel was the only one standing after the storm.  Had it fallen, my garden wouldn't have made it. 

Justin got out there the next day and started to work on the repairs.  By the end of the night, we had 3 men in our backyard helping Justin dig out the old posts.

Those are some good neighbors!  I think I just found my next excuse to bake something yummy.  They do deserve a proper "Thank You" don't you think?

Out with the Old, in with the New!

I made some cute, decorative plaques to hang in my kitchen and I was so surprised at how fast and easy it was to do it! It only took about an hour!

Yard Beautification

Our house didn't come with much landscaping.  It was a foreclosure, so I'm assuming that what the house had just wasn't really cared for and it all died.
